- Is using all horseman armies good?
- There are advantages and disadvantages to using an all horseman army. Horseman armies are more costly and are higher in score than swordsmen although they have a better defense and they conquer more land. It will depend on your personal situation whether running all horsemen will be the best strategy, the main questions that need addressing is whether or not you can afford to run a full horseman army with your economy.
- Is the amount of land conquered affected by anything other than the size of the army?
- Yes, there are various factors that determine how much land is conquered:
- Army Size
- Army type - horsemen or swordsmen
- Conquered Land research
- Your empire size in comparison to your target
- Your attack percentage on your target
