Notes on Rylandias Barbarian Strategy:
- This is designed to get you out of protection and attacking quickly. Note the relatively small army size and late research of economy. To account for this, the CL is used early and often to get the player more land than normal for more early mage.
- Because of this small army, the player MUST convert from macemen to archers for defense.
- Due to the high attack research levelsl, a player can use wine and strictly attack other players equal in size, or larger than him/herself to gain even larger landgrabs.
- With the late economy research, the empire must also have some forests and mountains for wood, hunters, and iron. After the wine research, most wood and food may be purchased by the sale of wine.
- A player may have to do wine runs to produce enough wine for their alliance, attack run, and economy.
- Only use forts and no town centers.
