- Excellent attacking units. You can only have 1 berserker per town

- Bows
- Bows are produced by weaponsmiths. The actual production is set via the management screen. 25 wood is needed to produce 1 bow. Bows are used by archers. They are also used by Mongol Horse Archers and Byzantine Cataphracts.
- Builders
- Builders are the workers who construct your buildings. Builders are gained from toolmakers. Each toolamker provides space for 6 builders although some civilisations have more and some have less.
- Building Catapults
- Click on the army screen and fill in the amount of catapults you wish to build in the appropriate box. Each catapult will require 250 wood and 250 iron. You are limited to 1 catapult for every Town Centre.
- Byzantine
