- Camel Cavalry are very good attacking units.You can only have 1 Camel

- Camping
- Camping is a controversial subject in the 1000ad world. It has been made illegal due to players employing this tactic gaining an unfair advantage over those that have a life.
- Cataphract
- Good defensive and attack unit. You can only have 1 cataphract per town
center. Byzantine specialist unit.

- Catapult
- Destructive unit that can demolish buildings, kill army or population. Only
catapults and Towers can defend against other attacking catapults. You can only
have 1 catapult per town center.

- Catapult Research
- For every 1% of catapult research your catapult strength is increased by 1% in attack, defense and damage done. Catapults are limited to 100% research.

- This is a list of the current civilisations available on 1000AD:
- Barbarian - Produce wine, use macemen and generally all out attack civ.
- Byzantine - Have a major gold advantage, well rounded civ.
- Chinese - No weapons needed, trained peasant armies used and attacking civ.
- Frank - Defensive civ, good economy and poor attackers.
- Inca - Major land grabbing civ, usually weak defense and poor economy.
- Japanese - Thieves and catapults used to devastating affect.
- Mongol - Weapons producing civ, good economy, good defense and attack.
- Turk - Normally all horseman army, decent attack & defense plus conquered land.
- Viking - Resource producer, excellent economy with decent attack and defense.

- This is the codebase 1000ad is designed with.
- Conquered Land
- The amount of land taken in a battle will depend on the type of attacking units that you send. For every 100 land points, 1 acre of land will be gained in battle. This is affected directly by conquered land research.
- Conquered Land Research
- The research limit for conquered land is 100. Therefore if you have 100 conquered land research you would take double the amount of land you would normally take without any research. For each 1% increase in conquered land research you will gain an additional 1% land during battles.
- Construction Time
- This is how long it will take before your queued buildings will be finished. To decrease your construction time you can build more toolmakers.
